The Get Your Move On campaign, chaired by Mayor David Miller, includes partners in health, recreation, education and business. The campaign was launched two years ago in response to a call to action by Toronto's Medical Officer of Health to make Toronto a more physically active and healthier city. Toronto Public Health, Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation and the YMCA of Greater Toronto are the Get Your Move On partners who have organized this event.

Swimming is an easy way to get active this summer at one of the YMCA pools, the City of Toronto's 131 pools, or one of the City's 10 beaches.
